The Austin LGBT Chamber Health and Wellness Committee is presenting our yearly Toy Drive! Join us this holiday season by donating and providing toys and or clothing/shoes for disadvantaged children in the Austin area.  We are partnering with Chamber Members, local non-profits, and City Parks for this amazing event. If you or your organization would like to join us please fill out this form. Each partner will be a drop-off location for toys and gifts from November 1, 2021, through December 10, 2021.

Covid-19 Safe drop-off directions and procedures will be in place.

Ways you can help…

  • Volunteer to help organize efforts and gift drop-offs.
  • Donate new and unwrapped toys, shoes, clothing.
  • Spread the word!

Toys and Donations Will Be Distributed to Children at the Following Community Non-Profits:

LifeWorks offers support and resources to youth and young families experiencing homelessness in the areas of housing, counseling, and education and workforce. LifeWorks is leading Austin’s community effort to end youth homelessness, opening the door for our city to become the first in the United States to achieve this goal. We are fearless advocates for youth and young families and believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, the chance to heal, and the opportunity to learn and to work. Every year, LifeWorks provides a pathway to self-sufficiency for more than 4,000 youth and families, many of whom are facing life’s most difficult challenges, including homelessness, trauma, and abuse.

Gifts received at the drop-off locations will go to families enrolled in LifeWorks programs.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Travis County believes every child who’s been abused or neglected deserves to have a dedicated advocate speaking up for their best interest in court, at school, and in our community. To accomplish this, CASA educates and empowers diverse community volunteers who ensure each child’s needs remain a priority in an overburdened child welfare system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety because the people responsible for protecting them have not, a judge appoints a trained volunteer advocate to make independent and informed recommendations and help the judge decide what’s best for the child.

Online gifts received will go to children enrolled in the CASA programs.
