Journey With AUS is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport’s multi-year airport expansion, development and improvement program.
The Journey With AUS Vision: Meet the current and future needs of our growing region while staying true to our roots and elevating the passenger journey with an authentic Austin and Central Texas experience.
The program’s overall scope and budget are currently in development.
The improvements will be funded through traditional airport development funding sources, such as airport cash reserves, current and future airport revenues, future revenue bond proceeds, and Federal Aviation Administration grants. No local Austin taxpayer dollars will be used to fund the program.

Led by the Texas Department of Transportation, the I-35 expansion aims to reduce congestion, improve safety, and enhance mobility through Central Austin. This multi-year project includes roadway expansion, managed lanes, and pedestrian/bike improvements.
Opportunities include: heavy construction, engineering, environmental consulting, and subcontracting.

The Austin Convention Center is expanding! The City is planning to redevelop and expand the existing Convention Center, delivering a larger, more efficient facility on a smaller footprint that will be a more active and community-friendly event space in the heart of Downtown Austin!

Light rail is coming to Austin, and we are the people building it. We are Austin Transit Partnership: a local government corporation leading the planning, design, construction and implementation of the project. The new light rail system will be an infrastructure improvement unlike any other in Austin’s history and transform how we move around our city.
A Public Improvement District, or PID, is a district specifically formed for the purpose of enhancing, improving or promoting the interests of the municipality. The Austin Downtown PID was formed in 1993, and the Downtown Austin Alliance was created as the managing entity. The Downtown Austin Alliance leads and participates in a broad range of programs and initiatives that create, preserve and enhance the value and vitality of downtown Austin.
The Small Business Program provides business training, educational events, and coaching to empower entrepreneurs. Our mission is to foster job creation and support the growth of new and existing businesses by providing capacity building information, tools, and resources.
