Let us welcome you to the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce with a Rainbow Ribbon Cutting! If you’re a member and have not done a Rainbow Ribbon Cutting, please reach out to us at membership@austinlgbtchamber.com with a few dates and times that work best for your business/organization.

Planning a Ribbon Cutting?

  • Your Rainbow Ribbon Cutting can be private or open to the public and promoted on our website calendar/social media. Just let us know which you prefer along with a few dates and times that work best for you.
  • Please provide us with a few marketing photos and your logo for promotions if the event is open to the public. Please email Colton if you have any questions about logo requirements.
  • Monday-Thursday Happy Hour times are usually better for attendance.
  • Provide refreshments (charcuterie, beer, wine, etc) if you’d like members to stick around and continue celebrating.
  • If you’d like to make your ribbon cutting extra special, browse our Membership Directory and do business with another one of our members! (order swag, book an artist or performer, or hire a caterer.)
  • Have some markers ready! Attendees will sign your ribbon after it is cut.
  • If you’d like a Ribbon Cutting in June, please get those requests in ASAP. Our calendar fills up quickly during Pride Month.

I’ve already had a Ribbon Cutting. Can I have another one?

Reach out to us! If your business has rebranded or is opening a new location, we’ll see if we can work something out!

I don’t have a brick-and-mortar location, can I still have a Ribbon Cutting?

Absolutely! Reach out to us and we can schedule your Ribbon Cutting at one of our static Happy Hours. Have another idea? We’re all ears.
