18 Mar SBA: Disaster Assistance

Governor Abbott is expected to receive a statewide disaster designation from the SBA by the close of business today (March 17^th).  It is expected that by Friday (March 20^th) Texas companies can apply directly to the SBA for a Coronavirus disaster loan (EIDL Loan Program) on this link https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance . The SBA says that applicants can expect a turnaround time for a decision to be 3 weeks, assuming their application is complete.
