Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce Announces Todd Hogan as New Chief Executive Officer

Effective January 2026

AUSTIN, TX — The Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the appointment of Todd Hogan as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026. The announcement was shared publicly at the 2025 Business of Pride Gala, the Chamber’s signature annual fundraiser. Hogan, a widely respected leader in Austin’s arts, cultural, and nonprofit communities, brings more than two decades of experience in strategic partnerships, community engagement, and organizational growth in Austin.

Hogan steps into the role after nearly ten years with KMFA Classical 89.5, where he served as Director of Sales & Marketing and played a key role in expanding the station’s presence, deepening community impact, and strengthening partnerships across Austin’s diverse arts and business landscape. His leadership helped transform KMFA into a recognized cultural hub—supporting emerging creators, elevating new-music communities, and championing organizations dedicated to preserving the traditions of classical music.

“We are thrilled to have Todd stepping into this role to take the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce into its next chapter,” said incoming Board Chair, Dr. Antoinette Moore. “He has already demonstrated a deep commitment to the Chamber for many years, and we are confident that our members and community will benefit greatly from his passion, expertise, and leadership.”

As CEO, Hogan will lead the Chamber’s mission to uplift LGBTQ+ businesses, professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs while expanding partnerships across Central Texas. His priorities include strengthening advocacy at the local and state levels, expanding member services, growing corporate engagement, and fostering programs that reflect Austin’s unique spirit of innovation, equity, and community pride.
“I am honored and humbled to take on this role,” Hogan said. “The Austin LGBT Chamber plays a vital role in supporting the economic, cultural, and civic life of our city. As someone who has spent my career building bridges between organizations and uplifting creative and underrepresented communities, I’m excited to carry that work forward in a way that directly benefits LGBTQ+ businesses and professionals. This is both a personal and professional milestone for me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve.”

In addition to his tenure at KMFA, Hogan has been the Board President and volunteer Executive Director of aGLIFF, Austin’s LGBTQ+ film festival, where he has led strategic planning, fundraising initiatives, community partnerships, and continued the success its annual PRISM Film Festival. His service also includes leadership roles and collaborations with numerous Austin arts institutions, including Zach Theater, Panoramic Voices, Tetractys New Music, and others.
Hogan’s appointment follows the leadership of Former CEO Tina Cannon, whose tenure from 2017 to 2025 marked the most transformative period in the Chamber’s 28-year history. Cannon grew membership by over 500%, launched major initiatives, including the Pride in Local Music Festival and the expansion of the Business of Pride Awards, and built national visibility for Austin’s LGBTQ+ business community through her leadership of high-profile Intercity Visits.

Cannon also spearheaded major regional collaborations such as the Diversity Ethnic Chambers Alliance (DECA) and the Regional Equity in Economic Development (REED) Plan, establishing Austin as a national model for inclusive economic development.

Now serving as Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Executive Director of the Visit Austin Foundation, Cannon continues her leadership within Austin’s tourism, business, and cultural sectors.

“Todd’s impact on Austin’s creative and nonprofit sectors is remarkable,” said Tina Cannon, outgoing CEO of the Chamber. “He brings not only experience but heart. He understands how to build community, how to grow organizations sustainably, and how to advocate for those whose voices need to be heard.”

Hogan’s appointment marks a new chapter for the Chamber as it continues positioning Austin as a national leader in LGBTQ+ economic empowerment, hospitality, innovation, and inclusive growth.
