Pride in Local Music ® is a dynamic music festival that began during the COVID pandemic as a way for the Austin LGBT Chamber to support Austin’s Live Music scene and creative economy.

Since its inception, the Chamber has supported more than 20 local LGBTQIA+ artists through the festival.

The festival celebrates local music through the vibrant diversity of the rainbow heartbeat of the Live Music Capital of the World. A portion of proceeds goes to the Austin LGBT Chamber Education Fund, which provides scholarships toLGBTQ+ and allied students who exhibit strong potential in leadership, academic ability and involvement in their communities.

“We have loved watching our previous artists go on to bigger and better things in their careers," said Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Tina Cannon. "Supporting entrepreneurs is what a Chamber of Commerce does and artists are just that. Art is business, not a side hustle.”
