Celebrate National Coming Out Day with the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. National Coming Out Day is an annual celebration that takes place on October 11th. The Austin LGBT Chamber has proudly been supporting out & allied entrepreneurs since 1997!

History
The first National Coming Out Day was in October 1988. Today, National Coming Out Day is often seen as a mainstream event, but its origins lie in a desperate push for more visibility as the AIDS crisis affected so many in our community. Read more about the History of National Coming Out Day.
