2023 Business of Pride Nominees Announced

Congratulations to all of our 2023 Nominees!

[AUSTIN, TX] The Austin LGBT Chamber has released the awards nominees for the 2023 Business of Pride Gala.

Each year, the Chamber gives awards in 10 categories. Award categories include Ceci Gratias Best Nonprofit, Health and Wellness, Community Leader, Pride in Government, LGBT+ owned Business of the Year, Allied Member of the Year, Corporate Partner of the Year, Creative Arts, Pride in Leadership, and Rising Star.

2023 Nominees

  • The Ceci Gratias Best Nonprofit Award nominees are Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT,) Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM,) and The Austin Lesbian & Gay Peace Officers Association (LGPOA.)
  • The Health and Wellness Award nominees are Austin Rise FC, Signature Care Emergency Room, and Mir Senior Care & Care Consultants, Inc.
  • The Community Leader Award nominees are Alissa Ziemianski, Tito Sandigo, and Bethany Cyrtmus-Davaul.
  • The Pride in Government Award nominees are Travis County Judge Andy Brown, Sen. Sarah Eckhardt, and Irish Consulate General to the southern central United States Robert Hull.
  • Nominees for the LGBT+ Owned Business of the Year Award are Misc. Rentals, The Little Gay Shop, and El Raval Restaurant and Tapas Bar.
  • Nominees for the Allied Member of the Year Award are Texas Capital, Method Three, and UFCU.
  • Nominees for the Corporate Partner of the Year Award are Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown, Samsung Austin Semiconductors, and Google.
  • Nominees for the Creative Arts Award are KMFA Classical, KUTX, and Extragrams.
  • Nominees for the Pride in Leadership Award are Gary Schumann, Nico Ramsey, and Deirdre Walsh.
  • Nominees for the Rising Star Award are Fiona Dawson, Austin Manning, and Justin Galicz.

2023 Business of Pride Gala

Award winners will be announced at the 2023 Business of Pride Gala at the W Austin on December 2, 2023. The 2023 gala is more exclusive (members only.) We can’t wait to celebrate Austin’s vibrant and creative LGBTQ+ and allied business community.

2023 Scholarships

The Chamber will also be awarding scholarships to LGBTQ+ and allied students through the Austin LGBT Chamber Education Fund. The application form closes on October 31, 2023. Apply at austinlgbtchamber.com/educationfund.
