The City of Austin Economic Development Department Small Business Program provides business training, educational events, and coaching to empower entrepreneurs. SBP is offering virtual online classes and 1-on-1 coaching sessions to small businesses. Visit the Small Business Program website to learn more about our class offering and coaching opportunities.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) resumed accepting Paycheck Protection Program loan applications on Monday, April 27 at 9:30AM CST. This federal loan is designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. Eligible borrowers can apply through any existing SBA 7(a) lender or through any federally insured depository institution, federally insured credit union, and Farm Credit System institution that is participating.
