[AUSTIN, TX] – The Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce will be taking a bus full of members to show their support for the LGBTQ+ owned and allied businesses of Lockhart, Texas.

Attendees will be driven to Lockhart on February 10, 2024 for a celebration of the launch of the Austin LGBT Chamber’s new Small Town Big Pride members.

Meet up at The Pub (214 W. 4th St, Suite A) for a pre-trip gathering and a refreshing drink at 2:45 p.m, hop on the bus with your fellow chamber supporters, explore the Chamber member businesses around the Historic Lockhart Square, and the bus will bring you back to 4th Street around 8 p.m.

The Small Town Big Pride memberships were a new addition to the Chamber in 2023 and the Chamber is so excited to spread the love in Lockhart.

“As a Lockhart resident, I am beyond thrilled to bring the Small Town Big Pride program to our community,” said Austin LGBT Chamber Membership Operations Manager Amy Clunie. “I’m proud to live in such a welcoming, inclusive, and perfectly peculiar little town. Lockhart has become quite the extension of the Greater Austin and San Antonio economy – our business owners mean business, and business is open to all.” 

The one-day event will be a celebration of the launch of the Austin LGBT Chamber’s new Small Town Big Pride memberships. Attendees will be given a map with a list of Chamber members, and will come together on the Caldwell County Courthouse lawn for a Rainbow Ribbon Cutting at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets to ride the bus are available at $10 for members and $15 for non-members. A free RSVP is also available to Lockhart residents or for those who would like to meet us there.
