19 Oct DECA Travis County Bond Endorsement
AUSTIN, TEXAS – Oct. 18, 2023 –The Diversity Ethnic Chamber Alliance (DECA) today announced endorsement for Proposition A and Proposition B in advance for the 2023 Travis County Joint General and Special Elections.
“We, the DECA Chambers, believe these proposed projects are vital for a growing Travis County. Ultimately, these projects will ensure Travis County remains a place where transportation infrastructure and the parks system allow for all to live, work and play.” remarked DECA Chamber CEOs.
Propositions A and B focus on needed funding for construction, maintenance, operation and improvements to Travis County roadways and County parks, respectively.
Today’s endorsement announcement is part of a larger Travis County effort to support ongoing economic growth and preservation of Travis County’s future.

The Diversity Ethnic Chamber Alliance (DECA) was established in 2021 and is a coalition of local diverse and ethnic Chambers of Commerce working together to advance economic opportunities for our communities. The coalition was founded by and is comprised of The Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce and The Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce.
