STBP - LGBTQ+ and Allied Business Members

Small Town Big Pride is a specialized membership program designed to help bridge the gap in resources and support for LGBTQ+ owned and allied businesses in the smaller communities surrounding Austin. As Austin continues to grow and expand, affordability has led many to move to surrounding areas. This program ensures that businesses in these towns receive the same level of visibility, advocacy, and community connection that the Chamber offers in Austin.

Through Small Town Big Pride, we highlight and support businesses creating safe and welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies. By joining, members show that pride thrives beyond the city limits, demonstrating that smaller towns can be both inclusive and vibrant places for all.

The ALGBTCC is heading back to Lockhart, Texas on March 29th!

On Feb. 10th, 2024, the Chamber embarked on our first-ever Small Town Big Pride Field Trip to Lockhart! We took a bus of 20+ members from 4th Street in Downtown Austin to the Historic Lockhart Square to celebrate our Small Town Big Pride Members with a joint Ribbon Cutting & encouraged attendees to shop with our Lockhart members.

In November 2024, we took members to Taylor, Texas to show our Small Town Big Pride members some love.

Since our first trip, we now have 20 members in Lockhart. Let’s show some support for Lockhart’s LGBTQ+ and allied businesses.
