The Austin LGBT Chamber Health and Wellness Committee is presenting our yearly Toy Drive! Join us this holiday season by donating and providing toys and or clothing/shoes for disadvantaged children in the Austin area.  We are partnering with Chamber Members, local non-profits, and City Parks for this amazing event. If you or your organization would like to join us please contact us. Each partner will be a drop-off location for toys and gifts from November 1, 2022, through December 1, 2022.

Covid-19 Safe drop-off directions and procedures will be in place.

Ways you can help…

  • Volunteer to help organize efforts and gift drop-offs.
  • Donate new and unwrapped toys, shoes, clothing.
  • Spread the word!

Toys and Donations Will Be Distributed to Children at the Following Community Non-Profit:

LifeWorks offers support and resources to youth and young families experiencing homelessness in the areas of housing, counseling, and education and workforce. LifeWorks is leading Austin’s community effort to end youth homelessness, opening the door for our city to become the first in the United States to achieve this goal. We are fearless advocates for youth and young families and believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, the chance to heal, and the opportunity to learn and to work. Every year, LifeWorks provides a pathway to self-sufficiency for more than 4,000 youth and families, many of whom are facing life’s most difficult challenges, including homelessness, trauma, and abuse.

 

Gifts received at the drop-off locations will go to families enrolled in LifeWorks programs.

Covid-19 Safe drop-off locations. Please make sure that all gifts are new and unwrapped. If you would like to purchase a gift online and have it delivered feel free to order from the wish list. All gifts will be delivered on December 3, 2022.

Drop-off locations for the 2022 Holiday Toy Drive have been finalized. If you would like to be a drop-off location next year, please email toydrive@austinlgbtchamber.com. Planning for the 2023 Toy Drive will begin in October of 2023.
